I joined Ampthill Lodge because the people I knew to be members were all decent men and I felt it would be good to put a little back through the charitable work of Freemasonry. On top of this over the last twenty years the depths and meaning of Masonic teaching, history and philosophy have never ceased to amaze me.

I joined the freemasons to make acquaintances with local people, being from outside the area and to better myself. I’ve found Ampthill lodge to be incredibly welcoming, friendly and fun, I couldn’t have wished for a better lodge to be a part of.

Becoming a Mason has given me many reward’s including new friendships and comradery and mostly a great sense of helping others in a charitable way I have found it to be a very social lodge.
