It is not widely known that there were three Ampthill lodges.
The Ampthill Lodge No. 2490, consecrated (formed) in 1894 and meets in Ampthill, Bedfordshire in the UK. There is also Lodge Ampthill No. 3682 EC, consecrated in 1914 which meets in Coimbatore in India.
This picture is of a past masters medal from the Ampthill lodge No. 3383 which was consecrated in 1909 and met at Wallasey in Cheshire. Sadly the lodge had to close in 2007 due to declining membership.
